01The starting point

Every customer orders differently.

Meusburger ships to many countries. Large customers send structured orders. Many others send whatever their own system produces: a PDF, an Excel list or three lines in an email.

Until late 2025, the order desk read each of these orders, matched the items and typed them into the ERP. That's time experienced people would rather spend with customers.

02How it works

From the inbox to a finished order.

Orderdesk reads the inbox where orders already arrive. Meusburger's customers don't have to change anything.

Example with fictitious data

  1. 01

    Inbound

The order arrives by email as before, with a PDF, an Excel file or as plain text.

  2. 02

    Read

Orderdesk pulls out customer, items, quantities, prices, dates and addresses.

  3. 03

    Check

If something doesn't fit, the order goes to the order desk. Everything else is done.

  4. 04

    Hand-over

The order data lands where order processing already expects it today.

03The benefit

More orders, no more typing.

Orderdesk has been a fixed part of order entry at Meusburger since December 2025.

1

More time for customers

The typing is gone. The order desk spends its time on queries, special cases and advice.

2

More orders, same workload

When volume grows, the typing doesn't grow with it.

04Getting started

Start small, with real orders.

There's no IT project at the start. You see what works on your own orders, then decide.

  1. 1

    Step 1

    A 30-minute call

We show you how it runs at Meusburger. You tell us how your orders arrive today.

  2. 2Free

    Step 2

    A test with your orders

Send us two or three real orders, redacted if you like. We show you the result item by item.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Start with one inbox

One order inbox, one route into the ERP. Whether you go further is up to you, based on the results.

Scope

Your effort
One call and two or three orders

05Who it's for

When Orderdesk is worth it.

A good fit

  • 01You are a manufacturer or technical distributor with a large item master.
  • 02Orders arrive every day by email, PDF or Excel.
  • 03Your order desk types these orders in by hand today.

Probably not a fit

  • 01Almost all orders already come in via EDI or a portal.
  • 02You mostly have a few project orders that look different every time.
  • 03You're looking for general document capture.

Next step

How many of your orders would go straight through?

Send us two or three orders, redacted if you like. We run them through Orderdesk and show you what comes out.
